Parque Floresta Western Algarve

This week we are off to visit the superb Parque Da Floresta in western Algarve.

Famous for its great golf, the course was carved out of the hills and many of the natural contours have been retained. It was designed by former Spanish amateur champion Pepe Gancedo, architect of the well-known Torrequebrada course near Malaga in Spain. Unlike most courses, Parque da Floresta has an infinite variety of holes, each one with individual character. A combination of finesse and long precise shots is essential to score well. Several fairways which formerly had side slopes have been levelled out and attractively landscaped.

However, it’s not all about golf at Parque Da Floresta as there many other activities too such as Bowls, Tennis, Mountain Biking, Archery, a wonderful health and fitness spa, and also plenty more activities nearby, such as water sports (diving in particular), horse riding and bird watching to name but a few.

We offer great prices, up to 40% off golf fees! And if you are looking for somewhere to stay, we have hand-picked a select amount of quality properties at affordable prices, (great deals for off season months). Accommodation
