The Silver Coast offers three established wine routes that take in not just some of the leading vineyards of the area, but some of its historic sights as well. So if you like history, walking, and wine, these tours are heavenly!

 

The Óbidos wine route begins in Bombarral and winds through the countryside taking in the historic walled medieval town of Óbidos and the city of Caldas da Rainha with its thermal springs and beautiful park, before heading inland to the rural town of Alvorninha. As with most vineyards in the Silver Coast region, visits to the quintas on this wine route must be booked in advance.
